Adobe After Effects Malaysia will be organizing the 1st 2012 usergroup meeting on 17th May 2012 at the KDU University College.

We'll have a special guest, an Adobe Evangelist to talk about the NEW CS6 ADOBE PREMIERE & AFTER EFFECTS.

We'll also be announcing our first 2012 COMPETITION where you can win a Production Premium Suite worth RM6k!

Dear AEMY members,

We had loads of fun at the Dec Mixer. Alvin Seah of EyeBelieve.TV gave a excellent talk about this experience in the TVC/Motion Graphics business. He showed us how he created some of the commercials. Karl Soule of Adobe Systems gave us some trips & tricks, expressions and AE + PR extravaganza! Vincent Ang of Limkokwing University of Technology won the Adobe Produciton Suite for his entry for the AEMY competition.

Folks,

The November AEMY meeting has been pushed to the 2nd Dec and it's going to be an exciting one! How so?

1. We'll be announcing the winner for the AEMY 'Make Something Cool 2' competition. The competition requires participants to come up with a new branding for AEMY with Malaysian elements.

2. Adobe Evangelist Karl Soule will be joining us to give a 1 hour session on his best tips & trick for a faster AE workflow. Those who use After Effects must surely know Karl, if you don't here are some links;

AEMY 'Make Something Cool' Competition 2

Folks, we are excited to bring you the 2nd 'Make Something Cool' competition. Here are the details;

Open to all residing in Malaysia

Must use (an) Adobe product

Deadline: 11-11-11

10 to 20 seconds of Animation, Motion Graphics or Visual Effects

Upload to AEMY's FB page and winner will be chosen by number of votes and panel of judges

AEMY needs a new logo/insignia/branding. So this is your chance to show us your design/creative skills. The winning entry will used as the new AEMY 'look'. Be sure to throw in some MALAYSIAN FLAVOUR - e.g. Durian, Batik, Songket, Turtles etc..

Our Sept 2011 meeting at the Limkokwing University of Technology was a success. Over 450+ people turned up for the event. AEMY announced a new branding and the 'Make Something Cool 2' competition. Go to our FB page to see the photos.
